The Plastic Limit Roller is specifically designed for the determination of the plastic limit of cohesive soils in accordance with Atterberg Limits testing procedures. It consists of a top plate, bottom plate and side rails manufactured from durable acrylic material. The contact surfaces are covered with absorbent paper, facilitating smooth rolling while minimizing contamination of soil samples. The 3.2 mm side rails ensure a uniform soil thread diameter by maintaining the required size throughout the rolling process, resulting in consistent and reliable test results.
